Anders Chydenius

Making Anders Chydenius' life work well-known belongs to the activities of the Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius.

The ideal of the Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius is Anders Chydenius (1729–1803), who drove courageous reforms, believing in the development of the individual and society and in the open debate. Chydenius was one of the earliest advocates of freedom, openness and democracy in Sweden-Finland and throughout Europe.
