Impact of the coronavirus pandemic on Central Ostrobothnia (Korona-Exit-KP)

The objectives of the project were to comprehensively study the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on Central Ostrobothnia and to outline a coping path for recovery from the coronary crisis and related concrete proposals for action.

The project was implemented as a cooperation project between the Regional Council of Central Ostrobothnia and Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius. The project was supported by a voluntary network of experts and a steering group. The division of labour between the Regional Council of Central Ostrobothnia and Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius in the Korona-Exit-KP project was such that the University Consortium's researchers made basic studies on the effects of the corona and recovery from the crisis, which they also summarized into a publication (link below) and as a basis for the regional corona survival plan. The Regional Council of Central Ostrobothnia was responsible for finalizing the corona survival plan, in particular by supplementing the plan with regard to concrete development measures.
