Our competence consists of applied research in sustainable chemistry, especially in battery chemistry, carbon and biomass research, wireless sensor networks and embedded systems, and business development research.

In particular, the goal is to increase the development of environmentally sustainable solutions in companies and to find new cross-industry value chains. Partners consist of industry in the region, including the growing mining, primary production and various services. Research on business development focuses on the life cycle of companies as well as on individuals' life courses, skills and wellbeing.
