At the Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius, you can study information and communications technology regardless of the depth of your basic training. We offer you studies from basic studies up to a graduate student degree. The ICT studies are planned in such a way that studying while working is possible.

Our aim is to offer the students more flexible ways of completing their studies; for example, by using different teaching technologies. Today, we can offer almost all of our contact teaching online in the form of real-time video-streaming. Moreover, the contact teaching is recorded, so that you can watch it when it suits you.

Our student groups are small, which facilitates good interaction between the students and lecturers. Personal study guidance is offered to every student whenever needed, and everyone gets an individual study plan. The study plan takes into account the student’s former studies and, for example, the student’s allocation of time.

The web-learning environment used by the Consortium provides further flexibility while completing your studies. Guidance and all the facts about studying are available there.  Thus, as long as there is an internet connection available, you will always have access to the information needed. The course examinations can be arranged not only in Kokkola, but also elsewhere, according to the student’s wishes.

The graduate student degree in ICT is based on the high-quality research carried out at the Kokkola University Consortium.

Welcome to studying ICT at the Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius!
